Letter written by the attorney of Sayyid Husayn's wife to the lower court, 1929
Sayyid Husayn coercively divorced his wife, in the presence of Sayyid Abu al-Qasim (prayer leader of ‘Ali mosque), with the wife waiving her mahr and the condition of no return after divorce. Now after five months, when she wants to marry another man, Sayyid Husayn claims that he wants to remarry her, even though her marriage contract has been abrogated.

Petition of Haji Husayn ‘Ali about his daughter's mahr and alimony, 1915
Petition written by Haji Husayn ‘Ali Saqat-furush [the retailer] to Hujjat al-Islam Ayatollah Muhammad ‘Ali al-Husayni, about the debt of his daughter's husband to him. The debt is eighty tumans of mahr and three years of alimony, which his daughter transferred to him in another settlement. At the end, the receiver of the petition writes that Ibrahim hasn't paid his debt yet, and the wife can get divorce based on Shari‘ah (with the father acting on her behalf).

Power of attorney for collection of holdings and divorce, 1906
Power of attorney given by Mirza Fazl Allah Nazim al-Zakirin, son of Sayyid Lutf Allah Nazim al-Zakirin, on March 18, 1906, to Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Haji Muhammad Hasan from Shiraz, in order to get his money back from his wife Malik Khanum, daughter of Abu al-Fath, and to divorce her (preserving the right of return for the husband). A note on the margin gives power of attorney to divorce Malik Khanum without the above clause.

Letter written by Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin (lawyer of Khanum Masha’ Allah) to the court, requesting to summon Sayyid Husayn (son of the late Sayyid Shukr Allah and husband of Khanum Masha’ Allah's) and Sayyid Abu al-Qasim (Khanum Masha’ Allah stays at his house) in order to clarify the divorce situation of Khanum Masha’ Allah and Sayyid Husayn

Giving the power of attorney for divorce and resolving disputes, 1911
Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin should investigate the dispute between Shaykh Muhammad ‘Ali and his wife (daughter of Shaykh Muhammad Riza), and Shaykh Muhammad ‘Ali's sister and her husband (Haj Shaykh ‘Abd al-Husayn), over the ownership of some household furnishings. Additionally, Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin will witness the divorce of Shaykh Muhammad ‘Ali and his wife, and Shaykh Muhammad ‘Ali promises not to go back to his wife after the divorce. Shaykh Muhammad ‘Ali and Shaykh Muhammad Riza's seals are at the end of the document.

Settlement of Karbalayi ‘Abd al-Rasul, his father (Haji Nasr Allah), and his daughter (Khanum Zaman) with Haj Muhammad Riza Tajir [the merchant], son of the late Mashhadi ‘Ali Akbar from Shiraz, over Khanum Zaman's alimony and mahr (which includes items listed, worth from one tuman to two thousand tumans) for ten tumans and some Russian hard sugar; then Haji Muhammad Riza triple-divorced Khanum Zaman.

Khanum Zaman gives the power of attorney to Nusrat al-Atibba’ [her father] in order to hire a lawyer to resolve the dispute with Mahdi Quli Khan (Khanum Zaman's husband), to receive Khanum Zaman's mahr and alimony, and to divorce her from him. On the margin, Nusrat al-Atibba’ gives the power of attorney to Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin.
